Join SF Noir as we continue our partnership with JCCSF to support its 10th Anniversary Season of presenting Giants of Jazz on Film. See films of the best of the Blues, a genre at the foundation of all forms of American popular music, from jazz to Western Swing to hip-hop. Drink in the jazz-oriented blues of Louis Jordan and Count Basie, and the Western Swing of Spade Cooley. See the “real deal” Delta Blues great Son House, as well as Lightnin’ Hopkins, T-Bone Walker, Sonny Boy Williamson, Big Bill Broonzy, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters and B.B. King.
